Look like the practice worth choosing.

Patients decide before they read

Someone comparing four practices within a mile forms a judgment in seconds, from a profile photo, a storefront and a website header. That judgment happens long before anyone reads about your credentials.

Generic identity, insurance pricing

A practice that looks like every other office competes on who takes the plan. A practice that reads as the specialist gets the elective case at a price that does not need discounting.

Built for real surfaces

A dental brand lives on a storefront sign, a treatment plan, scrubs, a Google profile photo and a recall postcard. It has to hold up on every one of them, not just in a presentation.

Anxiety is a design problem

A meaningful share of patients delay care because they are nervous. Tone, photography and how the practice presents itself either reduce that or add to it.

Why brand for a practice?

What dental branding actually covers

Branding for a dental practice is not a logo exercise. A patient choosing between several practices within a mile decides who to call in seconds, mostly on how credible and how calm each one looks, and that decision is made before anyone reads a word about training or technology.

Position before decoration

Cosmetic, family, implant specialist or anxiety-focused. A mark without a position is decoration.

Calm beats clever

Dentistry is one of the few categories where reducing anxiety outperforms being memorable.

Reproducible by the front desk

Your team produces recall cards, treatment plans and social posts. The system has to hold when they do it without asking.

Consistent everywhere it appears

Site, profile, signage and paperwork agreeing is also what search engines read as one legitimate practice.

How our LA dental branding works

Fifteen years of brand work before the agency, including time on Porsche, Audi and Mercedes-Benz. That is why a dental practice gets the same discipline as a car brand: position first, system second, applications third. Brand lifts every other lever in dental marketing in Los Angeles, starting with the site it lands on in dental web design. Our general practice is on the branding agency in Los Angeles page.

Position against the practices nearby

Not against dentistry in the abstract, but against the four practices a patient will genuinely compare you with inside a one-mile radius, and the one thing you can credibly claim that they cannot.

Design for the anxious patient

Colour, type and photography chosen to lower the temperature rather than raise it. In dentistry the brand that feels calm and competent beats the one that feels clever.

Build the system, not just the mark

Identity, palette, typography, photography direction and the rules for using them, so signage suppliers, print vendors and your front desk all produce the same practice.

Apply it where patients see it

Storefront and interior signage, treatment plans and estimates, scrubs, recall communications and the Google Business Profile. We produce the first round so the brand exists in the world on day one.

What this looks like in practice

Mr. Fridge

From appliance repair to the refrigeration specialist

A practice with genuine expertise presenting itself like every other office on the street, competing on insurance rather than on the work it was best at. We repositioned it around the specialism it already owned, built an identity that read as authoritative rather than generic, and applied it across the site, the profile and every patient-facing document. The enquiries that followed were for the work the practice actually wanted.

Northwest Aviation Medicine

Authority, made visible

A clinic with genuine expertise and an identity that looked like every other medical office on the street. We positioned it around the niche it already owned, built a mark and a system that read as authoritative to a specialist audience, and rolled it across three locations and the web.

The same test applies in dentistry. The identity has to survive a storefront sign, a set of scrubs, a treatment plan on a kitchen table and a profile photo on a phone, without losing what makes it credible, and it has to be reproducible by the front desk without a designer in the loop.

What it did for the business: referrals started arriving from people who had seen the brand somewhere else first, and the practice stopped looking like a generalist competing on price.

our work process

From positioning to rollout in six weeks

week 1

Audit & Research

Before we touch a setting we dig into your niche, your competitors and how customers in your area actually search. Already running ads? You get a line-by-line audit first - structure, wasted spend, tracking, landing pages.
week 2

Build & Track

Single-theme ad groups so every ad, keyword and landing page say the same thing. 200+ negative keywords blocked before launch. Conversion tracking and call attribution wired in before a single dollar is spent.
week 3

Launch & Measure

Campaigns go live and get watched weekly through the learning phase. First qualified leads usually land inside the first week - and every one of them traces back to the campaign and search that produced it.
week 4 onward

Optimize & Scale

Weekly search term reviews, A/B tests on ads and landing pages, bids adjusted, losers paused, winners expanded. Cost per lead comes down, and you keep a direct line to the person doing the work - no ticket queue.

Dental brand applications we produce

A dental brand is judged on surfaces most identity projects never consider. These are the ones that actually decide whether a patient books and whether they accept the treatment plan.

Storefront & interior signage

The first impression for walk-past traffic and the one that confirms the patient is in the right place. Designed to read clearly from the street and to feel calm inside.

Treatment plans & estimates

A full-arch plan is a five-figure document that gets read at a kitchen table, often next to a competitor’s. It should look like the practice you want to be chosen over.

Scrubs, print & patient comms

Recall cards, new patient packs, referral slips and uniforms. The everyday materials patients touch far more often than they visit your website.

Profile & digital presence

Google Business Profile imagery, website assets and social templates, consistent so the practice reads as one entity everywhere a patient checks. Licence status is public via the Dental Board of California.

our pricing

Pricing that starts where your brand starts.

We’re a boutique agency by choice. Limited capacity means the practices we work with get the time they deserve – not a seat in a queue of dozens.

Most agencies make you sit through a sales call to hear a number. We’d rather you know before you pick up the phone. Dental branding starts at $5,000 for positioning, identity and a core application set, and scales with locations and print requirements. Fixed scope, fixed price.

Los Angeles

Dental branding across Greater Los Angeles

Los Angeles is not one market for dentistry. A cosmetic practice in Beverly Hills is judged against a standard that would look overbuilt in the Valley, where warmth and family credibility matter more than polish.

We build dental identities around the patients a practice actually draws. That means positioning tested against the practices a patient will really compare you with, a system that works on a Beverly Hills storefront and a Valley strip-mall frontage alike, and applications your front desk can reproduce without a designer. For a practice in LA, the difference between a logo and a brand system is the difference between being chosen and being the one that took the insurance.

Areas we build dental brands in: Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Culver City, Downtown LA, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Long Beach and Orange County.

Common questions about dental branding

01 How much does dental branding cost?
Branding starts at $5,000 for positioning, identity and a core application set, and scales with how many locations and printed materials need rolling out.
Fixed scope and fixed price agreed before we start.
02 Is a dental rebrand more than a new logo?
Considerably more. The work starts with what the practice wants to be known for and which nearby practices it is compared against, then produces the system that carries it - tone, colour, photography direction and the rules for applying them.
A mark on its own does not change which practice a patient chooses.
03 Will it help with case acceptance?
It is one of the inputs. A treatment plan that looks like it came from a serious practice is easier to say yes to, particularly at five figures next to a competitor's quote.
Brand does not replace the clinical conversation, it raises the floor under it.
04 Do we need to rebrand or just refresh?
Often a refresh is enough, and we will say so. A full rebrand makes sense when the positioning is changing or the current identity actively works against the patients you want.
We would rather do the smaller piece of work correctly.
05 Can our front desk use it without a designer?
Yes, and that is the point. You get rules and templates so recall cards, treatment plans and social posts all come out consistent.
A system nobody can apply falls apart within a year.
06 Do you handle signage production?
We produce the design and specifications and work with your sign vendor. We are not a print vendor and do not mark up production.
You keep the files and can use any supplier.
07 How long does a practice rebrand take?
Around six weeks for positioning, identity and the first application set. Signage, forms and printed patient material follow on your suppliers' timelines rather than ours.
Digital touchpoints can change over a weekend; a storefront sign cannot.
08 Should the website change at the same time?
Usually yes, so the site and the brand say the same thing to a patient comparing practices. If your site is recent and structurally sound we can apply the identity to it rather than rebuilding.
We will tell you honestly which of those two situations you are in.
09 Do we own the files?
Everything is handed over at completion: source files, fonts and licences, signage specifications and the usage rules your team needs to apply the identity without us.
A practice should never have to ask permission to use its own brand.
